The Marauder


A school project that I made over the course of around 2,5 months. The entire model is made using traditional sub-d modelling techniques and due to time constraint, I had to skip the traditional texturing part of the project and go straight to Photoshop where I painted all of the scratches on the metal surfaces and made general postproduction such as color correction and adding elements like the smoke.
The image has recieved an 3DTotal Excellence award since it was added to the online gallery and has been posted on the front page of Evermotion.
The image has also been featured on the official Facebook and Twitter pages for Blizzard Entertainment's StarCraft franchise.
